I have up for sale a rare vintage 1968 King Feature Syndicate Inc PEANUTS HANG-UP No. 2 CHARLIE BROWN Good Grief - Stop Raining on Me! I Can't Stand It!! Poster mounted on thick paper with top advertising for the CHICAGO TRIBUNE Sunday Newspaper. This was used to promote the Chicago Tribune Newspaper that featured a Free Poster.
The poster is original - dated 1968, it came from the estate of a Milwaukee, Wis man who ran a News-stand back in the day. This is number 2 in the series, its HANG-UP NO. The entire thing measures approx 23" x 34-1/2", the poster approx 20-1/4" x 28-1/4". Seeing that the piece is too thick to roll up it must be layed flat and I will need to special order a box that will accommodate it. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOX AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM AND ARE HAPPY THAT IT IS UNDAMAGED.I insure through a 3rd party insurer and have to follow their procedures - your help would be required to process the claim. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
I list my items as thorough and as honestly as I can - but it is the buyers responsibility to be informed as possible. Color shades/tones may vary depending on my back round and lighting conditions as well your or my monitor settings. All my items are either older collectibles or antiques and as with anything of this nature there may be slight imperfections or manufacturing nuances. Please view the pics as though they are part of the items description.
