This is a very rare vintage boxed set of Charles M. Schulz Peanuts Philosophy in Latin. This set is dated 1968 and printed by Hallmark. This lot includes the outer box. Carolini Brown Sapientia (The Wisdom of Charlie Brown), Philosophia Secundum Snoopy (Snoopy's Philosophy), Linus de Vita (Linus on Life) and Mundus Secundam Luciam (World According to Lucy). These are small format hardback books. The text inside contains wonderful Peanuts cartoon images and text in Latin, in color and black and white. Snoopy and Linus are white covers and Charlie Brown and Lucy are red covers.

These are marked inside United Features Syndicate Inc. What a wonderful, rare find for a Peanuts collector or for a Latin teacher!

The box does have some shelf wear along the edges but it is clean and intact without any tears or major damage. The books are in excellent, like new condition.

I'm not sure they were ever opened and read. The inside pages are clean and bright without any yellowing, writing or damage. The pages are all tight in the binding. The bindings don't have any creases or damage.

The bottom outer edge of the books may have a little shelf wear. Please see the photos for more details.

Please keep in mind that, unless otherwise noted, all of our vintage items have had a previous life. All items currently come from a smoke free home but we do have fur babies. The case measures 5 ¾" x 4 ¼" x 1 ½. The books measure 5 ½" x 4".
