Unlike previous Peanuts specials, A Charlie Brown Celebration consists of a number of stories adapted from Charles Schulz's comic strip published between August 26, 1956 and August 3, 1979, but has no unifying plot. Here's a wonderful image from the special featuring Lucy on top of Snoopy's house while the little beagle lays on his back and stares up at her. The hand-painted 12 field cel is placed over a background print for presentation purposes. Included are the matching production drawings with Lucy on one sheet and Snoopy on the other. The drawings were rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper. All three pieces contain a Peanuts seal and comes with a COA issued by Linda Jones. The drawings have repositioned peghole strips.
